In honor of Turntable Tuesday, I’m going to start a weekly, monthly, I’ll see how I’m feeling blog post.  You’ll probably see me posting about DJ battles and routines, new gear, events I’m DJing and anything else DJ related that crosses my mind.  If you have a suggestion for something you want me to blog about, don’t be afraid to send me a message through my contact form and I’ll see what can be done.  

This week, I want to give a shout out to the 2015 DMC world Champion Vekked for his continued contributions to the DJ world.  As mentioned a few weeks back by DJ city’s Mojaxx, Vekked has been offering a number of free online and interactive DJ masterclasses in a large range of topics from constructing a DMC routine to practice techniques.  Vekked offers two classes a week, reaching US and European times zones so there’s an opportunity for everyone to learn.  On top of the masterclasses, Vekked is also offering exclusive material and DJ tools to those that subscribe to his Twitch channel (Twitch is the streaming service Vekked uses).  Take a look and see what DJ City has to say and make sure to check out Vekked live on Twitch Monday at 7pm EST and Wenesday 7pm GMT.
